Bay Area MBA Orientation 2019

Congratulations on your admittance to the UC Davis MBA program! We are looking forward to you joining the Graduate School of Management (GSM) community.

MBA Orientation 2019 will prepare you academically, professionally and socially to excel in our MBA program and beyond. We’ve created a comprehensive orientation that includes action learning sessions, critical thinking exercises, and networking opportunities to set the stage for your success at UC Davis.

Orientation Schedule

September 14: Bay Area campus in San Ramon
September 21: UC Davis Conference Center, Davis campus
*Attendance on both days is required.

Locations, Parking and Logistics

September 14

Bishop Ranch 15, 12647 Alcosta Blvd. Suite 190, San Ramon, CA.

Parking is available in the lots around Bishop Ranch 15. No parking permit is required at Bishop Ranch.

Attire is business casual.

Please bring your laptop and charger. Prior to arriving:

  • Have an active UC Davis user name and email. Click here and follow the directions under “Get Your UC Davis Computing Account.”
  • Ensure you have administrative access to install printer drivers.
  • You must have MS Windows 7 or higher (XP is not supported). If using a Mac, you may need additional software to run Windows-only applications.
September 21

UC Davis Alumni Center, 530 Alumni Lane, Davis (located next to the GSM Gallagher Hall).

Parking is available in Visitor Parking Lots 1 and 2 and the Gateway Parking Structure. No parking permit is required on the UC Davis campus on Saturdays. Please review the Visitor Permit Parking Area map to locate these parking areas.

Business Cards and Nametags

UC ​Davis ​business ​cards ​and ​nametags ​are ​available ​for ​purchase ​through your program manager and ​are ​useful ​for ​networking ​and ​other ​events. Business cards are $33 for a box of 500; nametags are $12 each and typically take about four weeks to arrive.
