The Class Gift Campaign
Each year, the Graduate School of Management launches student-driven fundraising campaigns organized by graduating students in our three MBA programs located in Davis, the Bay Area and Sacramento, as well as our Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAc) program.
Historically, the classes have fundraised as follows: Full-Time MBA campaign – gifts for the GSM Endowment fund. The Part-Time MBA programs – gifts for the Working Professional Endowment fund. MPAc for the MPAc Fund.
Growing these funds is critical to the School’s long-term growth and viability. Interest earned from these funds is available to the dean to launch new initiatives and to cover the costs of emerging opportunities.
In 2017 the graduating classes from all four programs are joining forces to raise gifts for the new Student Rainy Day Award Fund. This fund will allow students facing hardship during their tenure to apply for a one-time gift from the School to help them through crisis. It will not be a loan or a grant, but a gift made with the hope that when the student recovers and thrives post-graduation, that they’ll reciprocate with an equal gift back to the GSM.
