Integrated Management Project

Corporate offices of multinational Fortune 500 firms and ultra-fast-paced Silicon Valley start-ups will become classrooms as you and five colleagues team up to tackle pressing business issues and develop innovative solutions for cutting-edge companies in the world’s leading innovation hub: the Sacramento–San Francisco Bay Area corridor.

Big Bang! Business Plan Competition

UC Davis’ annual business plan competition is organized by our MBA students to provide a year-round forum for the university community to develop and  test business visions. Sponsored by corporations, angel investors and the venture capital community, Big Bang! offers emerging entrepreneurs a wealth of resources for mentorship, team building and networking.

Business Development Clinics

Dedicated to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship through education programs that bridge science, engineering and business, this course series cultivates ground-breaking ideas and builds the networks to bring them to life.

UC Davis Energy Efficiency Center’s Emerging Venture Analysts

The nation’s first university-based center of its kind to focus on technology transfer, the UC Davis Energy Efficiency Center offers students opportunities to work with industry to commercialize cutting-edge technologies. Led by Professor Nicole Woolsey Biggart, the center has strong ties with leading energy  and utility companies, policy makers and sponsor firms, including Chevron, Goldman Sachs and Walmart.

CalPERS and CalSTRS Fellowships

Offered in partnership with our Center for Investor Welfare and Corporate Responsibility, this program gives students valuable finance and investment experience at two of the largest public pension funds in the world: the California Public Employees’ Retirement Systems (CalPERS) and the California State Teachers’ Retirement System (CalSTRS).

UC Davis MBA Sacramento Mayoral Fellows

Modeled after the White House Fellows Program in Washington, D.C., this partnership with the city of Sacramento gives UC Davis MBA students hands-on experience at the intersection of busines and government.
