Bay Area Winter 2019 Speaker Series: Data Analytics
The Career Development Team and Bay Area MBA Dean’s Student Advisory Council (DSAC) is pleased to present to you the Winter Speaker Series. The event strives to bring in diverse business leaders to provide the GSM community with insightful perspectives.

Raymond Leung is a business analytics manager for Carl Zeiss Microscopy, Inc. He started his career at startup Xradia in 2011 and joined Carl Zeiss in 2013 through acquisition of Xradia.
Leung have held several roles ranging from a cleanroom process engineer, to a x-ray optics research scientist, and a marketing business analyst. In the past three years, he worked in the marketing department leading efforts to improve data transparency and employ predictive analytics. His goal is to empower people with self-service business intelligence dashboards and tools.
Leung holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Architecture from UC Berkeley; a M.S. in Transportation Engineering from UC Davis, and a UC Davis MBA with a concentration on business analytics. He graduated from the Bay Area MBA program with honors in 2016.
With a UC Davis M.S. in Business Analytics, Sonic Prabhudesai is working in financial services with Charles Schwab at the intersection of business strategy and analytics. He is a manager of strategy analytics and spends most of his days solving analytics problems in the field of revenue, acquisition and performance.
An engineering graduate from Bangalore, India, he co-founded Campus Diaries in his final year of undergrad with a couple of friends. Over the five years, he had the chance to work in a broad range of roles from community management, fundraising, strategy to business development in the ed-tech space in India.
