MBA All-Stars Mission
The mission of MBA All-Stars is Unite–Connect–Do.
In the spirit of unity, we aim to bring the students, alumni, faculty and staff of all UC Davis MBA and MPAc programs together to establish and strengthen connections and forge a strong foundation upon which to do meaningful work.

NEW THIS YEAR: What’s a Bundled Ticket?
The bundled ticket is a great deal for students and includes a ticket to each of the MBA program’s signature events: MBA All-Stars (Bay Area), The Big Party (Davis), and Capital Connections (Sacramento).
Descriptions of each event are below, and the cost breakdown and discount for the tickets are as follows:
- Early Bird: $170 (Total Discount = $15)
- MBA All-Stars: $70 (normal ticket price: $75)
- The Big Party: $70 (normal ticket price: $75)
- Capital Connections: $30 (normal ticket price: $35)
- Regular Pricing: $185 (Total Discount = $30)
- MBA All-Stars: $75 (normal ticket price: $85)
- The Big Party: $75 (normal ticket price: $85)
- Capital Connections: $35 (normal ticket price: $45)
What are the other signature events about?
The Big Party (formerly Casino Royale) has been a long standing tradition for the Associated Students of Management at the GSM. Students, alumni, faculty, and staff gather together for the biggest annual charity event for the GSM. The night includes an open bar, games, dancing, auctions, hors d’oeuvres, and networking as we raise money for local charities. Join us in February (date TBD) for an unforgettable night!
Capital Connections hosts an evening of networking, knowledge sharing, and mentoring across industries for all GSM students and alumni. Engage in roundtable conversations and one-on-one discussions to gain exclusive insight from alumni who have leveraged their UC Davis GSM degrees to further their careers and want to share success stories and lessons learned from their journey. This event encourages students from all campuses to come together, learn from each other, and build a stronger network and GSM brand. Join us on May 12, 2018 at 5:00pm in The Terrace at 300 Capitol Mall.
The second annual Bay Area signature event, MBA All-Stars, will be held Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Wente Vineyards in Livermore. Program may be subject to change and more details coming soon.
- 11:30–12:30 p.m. – Welcome Reception & Opening Remarks
- 12:30–1:00 p.m. – Break & Wine Tasting
- 1:00–2:00 p.m. – Volunteerism Hour (Rise Against Hunger)
- 2:00–2:30 p.m. – Break & Wine Tasting
- 2:30–3:30 p.m. – Business Challenge (TBD)
- 3:30–4:30 p.m. – Networking Hour
Feel free to stick around Wente Vineyards afterwards for wine tasting or dinner.
