Leaders for the Future Fellows

A cross-campus collaboration between the Office of Research, the Internship and Career Center, GradPathways (Graduate Studies) and the Mike and Renee Child Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the five-month Leader for the Future program helps Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scholars connect with applied experiences beyond academia through internships, job shadowing, projects and other immersives, while supporting business skills development.

Program funding in the 2017/18 academic year was provided by the State of California through Assembly Bill 2664: University of California Innovation and Entrepreneurship Expansion. Please check back for updated information regarding potential 2018/19 Leaders for the Future sessions.
