Eamonn Dolan served as chief investment officer and managing director of CM Capital (CMC), managing diversified portfolios emphasizing alternative investments. He was responsible for asset allocation, strategy formulation, manager selection, process design, and leading the investment team.
Before joining CMC, he was chief investment officer and managing director of Dresdner RCM Global Investors’ (DRCM’s) $19 billion global fixed income division. Earlier in his career, Dolan managed fixed income and synthetic equity portfolios as vice president and portfolio manager at PIMCO.
Dolan has served the UC Davis Foundation since 2006, including several terms as chair of the Finance and Investment Committee, member of the Executive Committee, and trustee. He and his colleagues developed, implemented, and continue to oversee an innovative approach to investing the foundation’s ≈ $400 million endowment portfolio. They also established guiding principles and new processes to strengthen the foundation’s finances.
Dolan earned his Master’s in Management from MIT, with a concentration in finance. He earned his B.S. in managerial economics from UC Davis. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Investment Counselor.
Jim Parsons is a Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank (Nasdaq: SIVB) and runs the Bank’s Associate Development Program (ADP). The ADP recruits recent college graduates and trains them to be lenders and relationship managers to the Bank’s early stage technology and life science clients via an 18 month rotation-based curriculum. Prior to this role, Parsons led SVB’s software practice in San Francisco working directly with clients in the enterprise, applications, media, and consumer spaces.
Prior to joining SVB, Parsons was SVP and Managing Director at Horizon Technology Finance, a specialty venture debt firm. Previous to Horizon, Parsons served as Vice President at GATX Capital/GATX Ventures for 13 years.
Parsons serves on the advisory board for Partners for Growth, a technology focused finance company. He earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from The University of Michigan.
