Professor Kimberly Elsbach focuses her research on the acquisition and maintenance of organizational images, and identities and reputations, especially images of legitimacy, trustworthiness and creativity. She also teaches and studies negotiation skills in competitive business environments. Her research provides a framework for communicating with shareholders, customers and employees in the immediacy of a reputation crisis and through long-term recovery. In papers published in the Harvard Business Review and the Academy of Management Journal, Elsbach showed how Hollywood movie and television producers judge the creativity of people pitching story ideas.

WestShore Management Group provides Interim CEO, corporate consulting, and executive development services for both public, and private, venture-financed companies.

Kay Peters is the founder and CEO of DMC Dialogmarketing Consulting GmbH and previously founded and sold a company. He worked at Accenture as a specialist for marketing strategy in the Telecommunications & eCommerce Sector. He also worked as marketing-controller for BASF AG in Caracas, Venezuela.
Peters received his Ph.D and MBA from Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel, Germany.
Research Expertise: International financial reporting issues and corporate governance, including the role of internal control and auditing in the development of high quality financial information.
A former practicing Certified Public Accounting (CPA), Hollis Skaife earned her master’s and Ph.D. in accounting from the University of Iowa. She has taught various accounting courses at the undergraduate, master’s and Ph.D. levels and currently teaches financial accounting to Master of Professional Accountancy and MBA students.
