Women in Leadership
Venita Sivamani has focused her efforts on educational equity and leadership for nearly a decade. She is a Teach for America alumnus with a keen passion for social entrepreneurship. Venita hopes to combine best business practices with her work in education to expand opportunities and improve life prospects for youth around the world.

Vice President of Operations
Amber has spent much of her career in policy and public affairs, including time spent working on the California No On Proposition 8 campaign, participating in the New York CORO Fellows Program in 2008, and serving on the Board of Directors for Youth M.O.V.E National. Prior to joining the GSM Amber managed two statewide healthcare policy programs in California, and was a member of several Government healthcare policy workgroups and committees. In addition to her role as the Vice President of Operations for Women in Leadership, she is also the President of the Associated Students of Management.
When she is not busy studying, Amber can be found playing IM soccer, taking advantage of California’s great outdoors, or hanging with her wife in Berkeley. Amber graduated with a degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley, and is a proud born and raised Californian.

Vice President of Marketing
Christine Bolghand is an entrepreneur with a background in marketing strategy across the industries of fashion, e-commerce, architecture & engineering, and music. Prior to joining the GSM, Christine spent nine years in marketing with a Fortune 500 architecture firm working on high profile projects such as the redesign of Chicago’s Navy Pier. In 2010, she launched Fancy French Cologne, a successful online fashion retailer known for celebrating indie designers from across the globe. In her role as co-founder, Christine directed the company’s marketing strategy.
In addition to her leadership role in Women in Leadership, Christine also serves as the Director of the GSM’s Student Ambassadors as well as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Communications for the Marketing Association.
