97% U.S.-eligible MPAc Students Land Job Offers in Four Months
More than half of Class of 2020 already offered positions at Big Four firms
With five months still remaining before graduation, 97% of U.S.-eligible students in the Master of Professional Accountancy program (MPAc) already have landed job offers at top accounting firms.
Many students have multiple offers, and more than half from the Big Four firms: Deloitte, EY, PwC and KPMG.
Other firms extending offers to UC Davis MPAc students include Moss Adams, BDO, Gilbert, and Campbell Taylor Washburn.
Opportunities to meet and interview with top firms come early in the 9-month program—even during orientation. Before classes start, students polish their personal pitch for a “Meet the Firms” event to network with recruiters and learn more about the culture at leading companies.
“One distinguishing feature of our MPAc program is the emphasis the faculty and staff put on professional development,” says Professor Hollis Skaife, academic director of the program. “Earning the MPAc degree at UC Davis is more than preparing to sit for the CPA exam: It’s about learning to be a successful accounting professional.”
