New Sacramento MBA Program Format
Friday and Saturday classes beginning fall 2017
We are excited to announce the new format for our nationally ranked Sacramento MBA program. Starting in fall 2017, the course schedule is changing to a convenient, alternating weekend format. This schedule mirrors the current schedule of our Bay Area MBA program.
Most classes will meet from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Fridays and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays, with a one-hour meal break in the middle. The schedule for our one-unit courses, summer courses and some other courses will continue to vary.
Major benefits include:
- You can network with your classmates and professors at mealtimes—dinner on Friday or lunch on Saturday. Our Bay Area MBAs find this to be a valuable part of their UC Davis MBA experience.
- A scheduled break in the middle makes co-curricular programming more accessible for you, particularly for career-related sessions and student club meetings.
- With Sacramento and the Bay Area MBA classes on the same schedule, it’s easier for you to mix and match courses across locations.
We offer two paces to suit your lifestyle:
Fast Track Option:
A more intense commitment, Fast-Track students attend two classes alternating weekends (Friday 2 – 9 p.m. | Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.) and a third class during the week or on the opposite weekend.
Regular Track Option:
Offering more balance between school and your other commitments, Regular Track students attend two classes on alternating weekends (Friday 2 – 9 p.m. | Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.).
Most students complete the program in 2-3 years although students have up to four years to complete their studies.
