Student Assistant IV
Research Aid, 50% Appointment

Graduate School of Management, the student assistant will be responsible for completing a variety of complex or specialized assignments that support academic research projects, including data analysis and drawing out salient conclusions, data collection/entry in accordance with skillful methodologies, spreadsheet work, careful editing of academic papers in management fields, and other support tasks. Large data set work will provide the Advanced Research Aide with opportunities for performing data analytics, automating processes, and developing creative solutions.

Minimum qualifications include advanced proficiency with formulas in Excel, advanced proficiency and previous experience working with data, knowledge of and experience with statistical programming (SAS or Stata), extensive background in Economics, Business, Statistics, or related quantitative field, careful attention to detail, strong quantitative skills, strong communication skills, experience working in an academic and/or research setting, desire to excel in a professional office environment, ability to stay focused working at a computer for long periods of time (taking appropriate breaks), ability to dedicate 20 hours per week, willingness to work over the summer.  GPA 3.0 or above.
