David L. Woodruff
Optimization Modeling using Excel
David Woodruff is an expert in optimization modeling in practical and academic realms. He is a co-developer of Pyomo, which is an open-source optimization modeling tool and he is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Computing of the society called the Institute for Operations Research and Management Science. He has published numerous scientific articles on optimization and has received grants funded by the US Department of Energy for development of practical software systems for large-scale optimization. He has taught the MBA course on optimization at UC Davis numerous times and has also taught and held seminars around the world.
