John Foraker

Chairman of the Bunny, Annie’s Operating Unit
UC Davis Alumnus

With more than 20 years of natural and organic business experience and a sharp focus on sustainability and social responsibility, John Foraker has been the longtime president of Annie’s, Inc., a leader in organic and natural foods. In August, he transitioned into a new role as chairman of the Bunny, where he will continue to work with General Mills (which acquired Annie’s) and the Annie’s Operating Unit to drive leadership in company culture, organic and regenerative agriculture, and strategy support.

He’s also co-founder and CEO of a new and highly disruptive organic food startup that will become public news in September.

As chairman of the board and CEO for Annie’s, he took the company public in 2012 under the symbol BNNY (aka “Bunny”), before the buyout by the General Mills in 2014. He also advised General Mills’ small business incubator 301, Inc. and was recognized as the EY Entrepreneur of the Year® 2015 in Northern California.

Foraker received a B.S. in agricultural economics from UC Davis and an MBA from UC Berkeley.

Most recently, Foraker and A-list celebrity Jennifer Garner signed on to become co-founders of organic baby food company Once Upon a Farm.
