College Council Co-Chair, Consultant and Instructor at Ohlone Community College
Terry graduated in 2009 with her MBA from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s San Ramon campus. She also holds a BS in Business Administration from San Jose State University, where she was the Treasurer of the Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Fraternity, a member of the Beta Sigma Honor Society and President of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She played on the San Jose State’s women’s golf team.
Her work experience has taken her from accounting roles as a CPA at PWC to a VP of merchandising and marketing at Safeway, Inc, to her current role as an independent business strategy & organization consultant and instructor of Business Administration and College Council Co-Chair at Ohlone Community College.
Terry’s service to the GSMAA began as a student, when she was the co-chair of her program’s Class Gift Campaign and a member of the student council. Over the years since her graduation Terry has consistently and generously supported GSM with her time, expertise and philanthropy. She was an Alumni Board member, 2012-2016 (Terry served as vice president and chair of the engagement committee during her tenure); helped launch the online alumni volunteer form; Served on the GSMAA alumni award selection committee (2010-2017); was a GSM guest lecturer and a Panelist for “Staying Ahead of the Curve; How Innovative Companies Stay on Top” as part of the 2011 Peer-to-Pier event. Terry has served as a class ambassador from 2011-present.
She and her husband Al are consistent annual donors and she has been a Dean’s Executive Circle member since 2012.
