Vail has served the University for more than 20 years as an event coordinator. She plans, manages and implements a variety of events for the Graduate School of Management. Events range in size from small, ten person dinners to large 900 person receptions. Events support the School’s executive education programs, academic conferences, donor receptions, speaker engagements, and alumni and student events.
In 2004, Vail earned a CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Certification.
Michelle works directly with the Assistant Director of Academic Operations and Planning to develop, edit, and review the curriculum for all 35 members of our senate faculty. This process includes the management, maintenance, and update of EMS, Banner, RaPS and the Education Building Resource Scheduling system to ensure schedule quality and completeness for multiple programs across all three campuses. Michelle is also responsible for data entry, as well as quality checks for each system and campus to ensure accuracy and consistency across applications.

Lana Watts brings more than 10 years of fundraising and business development experience to the Graduate School of Management. Most recently, she served for more than six years with the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas where she worked as a development officer responsible for corporate workplace campaigns. Watts’s role allowed her to cultivate relationships with United Way’s loyal donors and major donors while increasing their interest and involvement with organization.

Stephanie joined the Graduate School of Management in May of this year as the Energy Program Project Manager and has been working with Amy Myers Jaffe. She has also worked in the Academic Senate Office where she supported the faculty committees on Academic Freedom & Responsibility, Affirmative Action & Diversity, and Library as well as the Staff Assembly. Before joining UC Davis, she was a paralegal focusing on securities and business transactional law and a research assistant at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Eva works together with the Academic & Student Services team to oversee the student experience at the GSM, starting when students arrive for Orientation, all the way through to Commencement. Eva serves as primary point of contact for the part-time MBA students in the Bay Area MBA program. She guides students to navigate through the policies and procedures affecting student enrollment and academic advising. She also manages program events and assists with student-led events.
