Calling all UC Davis MSBA alumni
Alumni from all classes of the UC Davis MSBA are invited to participate in the UC Davis Data Hack 2020 with Google Cloud.
Showcase your business and analytics skills by solving a real-world problem for social good over the course of 24 hours. Tracks will be in COVID-19, racial injustice, income inequality or a topic of your choosing. This is a great opportunity to highlight your strengths for corporate contacts, as you work to solve critical social issues.
Join us and compete for bragging rights, as well as prizes.
Day 1: Saturday, July 11
10 a.m.: Hackathon introductions
10:30 a.m.: Workshop by Google Cloud
4 p.m.: Alumni panel
10 a.m. : Submissions due

Data Hackathon 2020 with Google Cloud is a 24-hour data analytics competition hosted by the UC Davis Master of Science in Business Analytics program to highlight participants’ analytics expertise and to connect partner companies to participants’ analytics talent.
Teams of two to four alumni will work around the clock to deliver business solutions for social good. They’ll put their innovative thinking and collective blend of business and technical skills to work using problem structuring, statistical methods, machine learning, data visualization and more.
Partners from Google Cloud will serve as judges. Prizes will be awarded to the top teams.
There will also be event workshops.
