Undergraduate Innovation + Entrepreneurship Workshop Series

This two-session workshop series introduces undergraduate students from all disciplines to innovation and entrepreneurial thinking.

Curious about innovation and entrepreneurship, but don’t know where to start? Undergraduate students at UC Davis are invited to gain hands-on experience in innovation thinking and entrepreneurship in this two-Friday, interactive workshop series.

Working in cross-discipline teams, participants use principles of design thinking to launch a team project in week one. Teams present projects and receive interactive feedback in week two. Learn the basics of entrepreneurship—including building commitment, identifying uncertainties, designing “experiments” and validating markets—alongside students from across the UC Davis campus.

Undergraduate students from all fields of study will find this program an inspiring learning experience. Participants will come away with knowledge of programs that can sustain their continued innovation and entrepreneurship journey.

Guest Instructor

Workshop leader Mark Randall is executive director of the Kickbox Foundation, a unique innovator’s toolbox to kickstart creative problem solving. He most recently served as chief strategist and vice president of creativity at Adobe.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must be:

  • A current UC Davis undergraduate student in good academic standing in any discipline
  • Available and committed to participate in both full workshop sessions
