MSBA Presents: The Hackathon of the Year—Aggie Hacks 2026!

MSBA presents Aggie Hacks 2026, the flagship hackathon of the year bringing together MSBA and MBA students to solve real-world business challenges through data, strategy and storytelling. Whether you're a seasoned hackathon veteran or a first-timer, whether you're a data scientist, product analyst, product manager, marketer or entrepreneur, there's something for everyone to challenge yourself and gain new skills.

There will be two rounds of judging. Teams will first submit their solutions online, and selected teams will then be invited to deliver a live presentation via Zoom.

Then, join us for the in-person celebration and awards event on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at SPARK Social SF.

Grand prizes

  • Grand Gold Award: $3,000 per team
  • Sterling Silver Award: $2,000 per team
  • Bronze Brilliance Award: $1,000 per team

You’ll have the chance to:

  • Work with a team of 3–4 like-minded individuals to tackle a curated business case.
  • Access mentors and resources to guide you with analytics, problem framing and communication.
  • Present your solution to a panel of judges who will evaluate impact, insight and storytelling.
