Earning your MPAc is a significant investment of time and money. UC Davis offers comprehensive financial assistance to enable you to enroll in the UC Davis MPAc Program.

MPAc students who start in fall 2022 pay $1,070 per unit.

The MPAc program requires 48 units for a total estimated course fee of $51,360 for students entering in fall 2022.

The UC Davis Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships establishes a modest, yet adequate, cost-of-living allowance to determine financial aid eligibility each school year. This allowance includes housing and utilities, food, transportation, personal/miscellaneous expenses and medical expenses.

Health insurance is charged separately. Access to Student Services – Level I (Full Access and Representation)Students have access to all the campus services that state-supported graduate students have access to, as well as representation and access to purchase student health insurance. Students admitted for Academic Year 2022-23 will be charged a one-time, lifetime document fee of $150.00.

A one-time fee of $159.00 is charged to entering students who hold an F-1 or J-1 visa, excluding UC Education Abroad and non-UC Davis-sponsored students (i.e. Fulbright or Vietnam Education Fund). More information about the Services for International Students and Scholars' Fees & Tuition page.

Health Insurance Requirement

UC Davis automatically enrolls all registered students in the UC Student Health Insurance Plan (UC SHIP). Students with comparable insurance can apply for a UC SHIP waiver. More about UC SHIP here. The quarterly cost in 2021-22 is $1,326 ($5,304 annually).
