Muneet Bains is a lecturer at the University of California, Davis, with professional experience spanning public accounting and corporate financial reporting. In addition to teaching, she currently serves as a manager of financial reporting and technical accounting, where she specializes in complex accounting issues, financial statement preparation and technical guidance.

Prior to this role, Bains worked as a senior assurance associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she gained extensive experience in auditing, financial analysis and working with clients across a variety of industries.

Bains earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration with a concentration in accounting from California State University, Chico, and a Master of Professional Accountancy from the University of California, Davis. She is also a certified public accountant (CPA).

Drawing on both academic and industry experience, Bains is committed to helping students build a strong foundation in accounting while developing the practical skills needed for successful careers in the field.
