I chose UC Davis because it truly sees its students as future leaders. The MSBA program is practical, fast-paced and focused on solving real problems with data. I was drawn to its collaborative culture, strong industry ties and hands-on learning. It’s a supportive environment where you can grow, take risks and enjoy the journey.

Fun Facts

• I’ve loved singing since I was a kid and have won first, second and third place in competitions—from school events to a citywide contest. Ironically, I have no sense of rhythm and can’t play any instruments.
• I’ve always been the on-stage type — hosting events, giving speeches, debating, singing, you name it. But honestly, I’m pretty introverted and always get stage fright. Still, I love the thrill once I’m up there.
• I’ve traveled to 11 states in the United States but only seven provinces in my home country, China. My dream is to explore every province in China and, eventually, the whole world. I believe in manifesting big goals, and one day, I know I’ll make it happen.
