Shachi Govil

Shachi joined the Graduate School of Management (GSM) at University of California, Davis in July 2017. Based out of the San Francisco office, she manages its day to day operations and is responsible for ensuring a transformative and fulfilling student experience in GSM’s first STEM program. She collaborates with the Academic & Student Services team while working directly with the MSBA students, providing guidance for student programs, events, and student-led activities. She is instrumental in organizing, planning and meeting key objectives to enhance operations among students, faculty, and staff.
She also provides leadership and strategy for MSBA student and career development related programs, events, and activities to develop a high-caliber student experience that also equips them for successful transition to the professional world.
Shachi joined GSM with 15 years of entrepreneurial experience, during which she co-founded two Silicon Valley startups with successful exits. Shachi completed her BFA at Sophia College, Mumbai and a certificate in Human Resources Management from Cornell University.
Shachi lives in Redwood City, where she spends most of her free time with her family pursuing her passion for cooking, watching sports and hiking with their German Shepherd.
