The Hyatt Place UC Davis is conveniently located on the beautiful University of California, Davis campus, adjacent to the program venue (Gallagher Hall). Surrounded by a variety of local art museums, quaint shopping districts, and scenic golf courses, this college town atmosphere is only a short distance from California’s State Capitol, wine country and the San Francisco Bay Area. The Hyatt provides a full hot/cold breakfast. Along with coffee, wine, and beer for purchase.

Please dress comfortably to get the most out of this learning, and networking experience. Business casual attire is appropriate and shorts are welcome! 

The weather in Davis during the month of July can be beautiful and sunny. The temperatures can range from 85-100 degrees, so dress comfortably for the heat! As a reference for local weather, please visit the Weather Channel.

Getting Ready

Step 1: Creating Your UC Davis Email/Computing Account

• 
  You will be instructed to complete a Temporary Affiliate Form (TAF) online. An instructional guide and step-by-step instructions will be emailed to you in the coming weeks.
• Check out the instructional guide link in the sidebar for more details on the TAF process.

Step 2: Access to Canvas

• You will get access to Canvas 1-2 weeks before the start of the program. Look for an email communication in the coming weeks from the Executive Education team.
• Check out the instructional guide in the sidebar for more details on how to use Canvas once you receive your invitation.
• Additionally, we recommend you print materials from Canvas that you would like to take notes on.
• You will be prompted to submit your Clifton Strength Finders report on Canvas 1 week before the start of the program and do some other pre-work. Updates will be forthcoming as we approach.

Arriving at Gallagher Hall 

The program will be held on UC Davis Campus in Gallagher Hall. We are conveniently located near the I-80 corridor. There is an interactive, map of the UC Davis Campus for your convenience.

Parking

• If driving your own vehicle to campus, you will need to download the AMP mobile parking app. You will need a credit card and your license number to activate. Be sure to use your UC Davis computing account/UC Davis email for the student rate of $5 per day, otherwise the cost is $18.
• You may park in the following areas: the Gateway Parking Structure and Visitor parking Lots 1 and 2. 

Airport

If you are flying to the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO) the following transportation options are available:

Train

If you plan to arrive by train, the train station is conveniently located in Davis and very close to the venue. From the train station you can rent a taxi.
