Become a Business Partner

Become a Business Partner

The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is committed to helping companies address the complex management issues in today's competitive global business environment. Our business partnerships offer a vital link between the School and the business community that brings extensive benefits to both parties.

As a Business Partner, your company joins many of the region's top corporations in sharing a commitment to excellence in management education by supporting UC Davis’ nationally ranked business school. Our partners' generous contributions reinforce our efforts to provide a superior business education to our students—the next generation of corporate managers and leaders.

Business Partner Benefits

Special Events–Networking Opportunities

Members are invited to attend Graduate School of Management events at no cost. These events provide an opportunity to meet UC Davis MBA, M.S. in Business Analytics, and Master of Professional Accountancy students and alumni, as well managers of major companies in the region. Partners are welcome to bring clients to these special educational programs.

Student Consulting Assistance

Companies often have projects that they need to tackle, but lack the staff resources to gather the data required for decision making. Business Partner companies may draw on a network of graduate business students who are eager to work on targeted research projects via internships or for course credit. Through these opportunities, students gain valuable experience analyzing real-world issues, and companies gather data they need and input from our faculty, without hiring permanent staff members.

Recruitment Opportunities

Business Partners have access to talented students and receive a complimentary copy of the School's MBA Resumé Directory. Through the School's resumé referral service, Business Partners can receive the resumés of all students who have expressed an interest in their industry. To help assess the employment market, each Partner receives a yearly MBA placement survey that reviews both career and internship salary statistics and other recruitment data.

Special Recognition and Visibility

Partners receive recognition on the Graduate School of Management website, at events they attend, and on our Business Partner list we include in our Development folders, which we share when meeting with current/prospective business partner, alumni and donors.

Keeping Current

Business Partners receive Dean Unnava's monthly Big 3 newsletter/video and the quarterly Research in Action newsletter, which highlights faculty research and its impact in the business world. Partners also receive our monthly alumni newsletter with the latest news and information from the School.

Affiliations with the Dean, Faculty and Administrators

We help Business Partner firms identify and contact faculty at the School and across the university who are researching topics of interest to them. Through our network of world-class faculty, companies often find the right consultant to help them make the most of business opportunities.

Thank You

Business Partners make it possible for the School to provide a world-class experience for the next generation of corporate managers and leaders. We extend a special thank you to these corporate affiliates for their generous financial and in-kind support.
