5 Reasons to Attend a UC Davis MBA Showcase
Learn about joining our MBA community
We invite you to spend some time on campus and learn about our innovative IMPACT curriculum at one of our upcoming MBA Showcase Days.
- January 25: Sacramento Part-Time MBA in Sacramento
The open house will connect you with our community and like-minded individuals, while highlighting all that UC Davis has to offer.
1. Meet our MBA faculty
You’ll meet a broad range of professors—from finance to organizational behavior experts. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn how the same cutting-edge research they bring into the classroom is shaping best practices in industry. Discover why we have been ranked No. 4 globally for the quality of our faculty.
2. Ask anything of alumni
How does the MBA experience strengthen your professional network? Our alumni will answer the questions about getting an MBA degree that you have always wanted answered. They’ll share their perspectives on UC Davis MBA student life, with an insider’s view of the classroom and beyond.
3. Meet the community
The UC Davis Graduate School of Management is a tight-knit community of diverse individuals woven together by the common thread of making a positive difference through the power of business. Experience this community first-hand at the MBA Showcase Day, where you’ll meet students, alumni, faculty and staff all in the same day.
4. Industry Immersions
We’ve combined our business expertise and corporate partner network with UC Davis’ global leadership in biotechnology, food and agriculture, sustainable energy and technology finance. These interdisciplinary Industry Immersions courses are unique to UC Davis. Each week, top executives share their experiences and present live case studies. You’ll collaborate with graduate students from across UC Davis, teaming up to present your solutions to the corporate leaders. Learn more and view videos about our five Industry Immersions:
5. Learn about our IMPACT curriculum
Our innovative MBA curriculum is anchored by IMPACT (Integrated Management Project, Articulation and Critical Thinking), an approach that prepares you for post-MBA success. You’ll learn about our capstone IMPACT project, which teams students up to consult on pressing issues for Silicon Valley start-ups, Fortune 500 companies and regional rock stars firms. We’ll introduce you to our self-guided concentrations, where you will work with faculty who will get to know you on a first-name basis.
