Come join the ASM for a White Elephant gift exchange! A White Elephant is a social gathering where participants exchange humorous, impractical, and inexpensive gifts. The basic mechanics of a White Elephant Gift Exchange involve participants bringing a wrapped gift and drawing numbers to determine the order of gift selection. The first person selects a gift from the pool and opens it for everyone to see. Participants can either choose a new, wrapped gift or "steal" an already opened gift from someone else. The game continues with each subsequent participant having the option to pick a new gift or take one from someone else.
