Current Résumé
To review the progression and milestones of your career, we ask that you upload a current resume through the online application. We prefer chronological resumes no longer than 2 pages, in PDF format. Your résumé should include a list of outside activities, awards and honors.
Personal Statement (250 words)
We’re looking for an honest, thoughtful statement that help us get to know you; there truly is no one “right” answer.

Transcripts
You may submit unofficial transcripts from all undergraduate and graduate programs you have attended or are currently attending in pursuit of a degree with your application.
Official transcripts are required upon admission into the program. Transcripts must arrive in a sealed envelope as issued by the school. If the institution provides official electronic transcripts, they can be emailed directly from the institution to: gsm-mpac-applicant@ucdavis.edu
Official GMAT or GRE test score (waivers available)
Candidates are required to take the GMAT or GRE exam prior to the deadline for which they are applying. UC Davis keeps test score reports on file for two years, and there is no minimum acceptable score.
The GMAT requirement may be waived for U.S. domestic applicants and international applicants who completed their undergraduate degree (all four years) from a U.S. institution, with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.2 or above. All applicants with a GPA less than 3.2 will be required to submit GMAT or GRE scores.
Official TOEFL or IELTS (international applicants)
Applicants must submit official TOEFL or IELTS examination scores unless they have earned or will be earning a bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree from either:
- A regionally accredited U.S. college or university where English is the sole language of instruction, OR
- A foreign college or university which provides instruction solely in English. UC Davis Graduate School of Management will only approve waivers for foreign colleges and universities that list English as the sole language of instruction in the IAU World Higher Education Database. We will not review or accept any other documentation.
- The UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s requirements may differ from what is listed on the UC Davis Graduate Studies website given the specific needs of the curriculum. Where different policies exist, please adhere to the UC Davis Graduate School of Management’s requirements.
Application Fee
A $125 application fee is required and payable by credit card within the online application. Application fee waivers are available on a case-by-case basis.
Please contact your Admissions representative on the steps to submit your fee waiver request. We will process your request and get back to you within 2 business days with eligibility confirmation and next steps. Please do not submit your application until you receive a response to your request.
Virtual Interview (by invitation only)
After an initial application review, selected candidates will be invited to a virtual Zoom interview. This is a positive indicator of our interest in your application but does not guarantee admission.
