Add Admissions Event
1. Click on Events

2. Click on New Event

3. Type the Event Name
This is public facing and will appear on the registration page and event portal.

4. Select Informational Session Event Template (Virtual) from Template

5. Select appropriate Program from Folder
Select the following:
All MBA Programs: events that are general to all MBA programs
Full-Time MBA: events that are specific to Full-Time MBA
Bay Area Part-Time MBA: events that are specific to Bay Area Part-Time MBA
Sacramento Part-Time MBA: events that are specific to Sacramento Part-Time MBA
MPAc: events that are specific to MPAc
MSBA: events that are specific to MSBA

6. Select Admissions Event from /

7. Select Tentative from Status
Marcom will review the event and then publish the event by setting the status as "active".

8. Add start date/time and end

9. Add registration deadline

10. Select Time Zone of event location

11. Select the user(s) who owns the event

12. Add an email to be notified when someone registers

13. Navigate to the Location tab

14. For virtual events: Select Host event using external service from Online Event

15. Add zoom link

16. Select 5 minutes before start of event from Early Access if you'd like to open the webinar early.

17. Click on Save

# Description
18. Click on Description

19. Add the description of the event

20. Click on Save

21. Once saved, Click on Notes

22. Select the appropriate program
*If more than one program, select the primary program and contact person.

23. Select the primary contact person

24. Click on Save

25. To preview event registration page: Click on URL after saving

26. Click on Notes

27. Select the correct Program
Event Program & Owner will auto-populate the email header and email signature line for all event communciations!

28. Select Event Owner
Event Program & Owner will auto-populate the email header and email signature line for all event communciations!

29. Choose Yes under publishing options if the event should be published on the GSM calendar

30. Select Event AND registration form from Include the following on the GSM calendar post
If the event is informational only, select Event only. This will typically occur when we are attending a 3rd party event where they collect the registrations.

31. Check Yes
Once you select the 'Ready for Marcom to review', the Marcom team will receive an automated email to take action. This action includes publishing on the GSM website if applicable.

32. Click on Save
