Reapplicants to Part-Time MBA

If you have submitted an application to a Berkeley MBA program within the last two years, you are considered a reapplicant. If your application was incomplete or withdrawn, you are not considered a reapplicant.

Reapplicants are required to complete and submit all portions of the online application, including an additional reapplicant essay:

Please submit a statement explaining how you have improved your candidacy since your last application to the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program. If you have previously applied to one of our other Berkeley MBA programs, please help us understand why you are now interested in attending the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program. (350 word limit)

Please note that the application portions listed below are not required to be submitted again as a reapplicant. Please use the same email address you used in your previous application when creating your new application.

Test Scores

If your previous application’s exams are still valid, we do not require you to reorder official score reports unless you are submitting new test results. We accept the Executive Assessment (EA) test for applicants who will have 8 + years of work experience as of the beginning of the fall semester. If you would like to submit new test scores, please submit an official score report to the EWMBA Admissions office using the following codes:

GMAT: N2V-PT-16

GRE: 7884

EA: N2V-PT-16

TOEFL: 4833-02

For the TOEFL or IELTS, you must submit new scores if your test was taken before June 2018. If your GMAT, GRE, or EA exam predates the October 2014 cutoff, you will be required to take the test again.

If you have retaken the GMAT, GRE, EA, or TOEFL, ask the Educational Testing Service to forward the new official scores to the Evening & Weekend Berkeley MBA Program using the codes above. You will also need to log on to your online application and self-report your new score in the Test Score section.

Transcripts

You will need to submit transcripts for any new coursework completed since your prior application.

You will not need to re-submit any official transcripts previously submitted. If you only submitted unofficial transcripts, you will need to submit official transcripts from every college/university/graduate institution you have attended since secondary/high school graduation toward the issuance of a degree.
