Spencer Wetzel

I chose UC Davis to take advantage of its STEM-based practical applications of business concepts and to build a strong local network.

I love that the cohort is large enough to get a variety of diverse backgrounds and viewpoints, but small enough to get personalized interaction with peers and professors. I also appreciate that fellow GSM members are curious, motivated and supportive.

  • I've been running a weekly virtual trivia night with my college friends since 2020, and as a result I have a vast trove of obscure facts and lore.
  • I am the de facto "rules arbiter" for my friend group's board game nights, a role which I take far too seriously and love every minute of.
  • I love all dogs, but none more than my mini-poodle dachshund mix, Bowie. He's my study buddy, and may make impromptu appearances on Zoom calls when he is demanding attention.
