As time gets near for prospective students to decide on where they will be attending b-school in the fall, I will let the prospectives in on a little secret ritual that business students do on a constant basis: the high five.
Over the last week, I haven’t really done much. I drove to my folks’ place in Southern California, saw a few movies, watched a lot of TV, and had a short bout of food poisoning. Spring Break went by a little fast, but I was able to get a lot of nothing done. Now it’s back to school.
MBAdmit Day is coming soon! It’s a great opportunity to learn about Davis, the GSM, and meet current students. Unlike Preview Days, there is only one MBAdmit Day and it is meant for people who have already been admitted to the program. Yesterday, I got a chance to see a concert of the most renowned violinists ever — Itzhak Perlman — and it’s all because of the UC Davis Robert and Margrit Mondavi Center for the Performing Arts (often referred to as the “Mondavi Center”).
