Distinguished Professor Paul Griffin Speaks on Emissions in Corporate Reporting Accountability in a Sustainable World

We are facing a climate emergency.

What role do accounting and investment play in a sustainable world that ensures an economic green recovery?

The Climate Action: Accountability in a Sustainable World conference in September 2022 aimed to meet this need by focusing on those four key pillars to a sustainable future: investment, assurance, regulation, and target setting while building and strengthening the links between academia and practice, encouraging younger academics by providing an opportunity to present their work to both other academics and practitioners while providing opportunities for practitioners to communicate with academics and influence their work.

An invited speaker, Distinguished Professor Paul Griffin appears at 7:36:30 in the video, discussing the need for corporate disclosure of emissions as critical for climate action.
