Lodging (Not Included in Price)

We have reserved rooms on a first-come, first-served basis at the following locations. Please note the distance to Gallagher Hall from each hotel. A car or bike may be required. Aggie Inn offers bike rentals per day. One of our staff members will walk you to Gallagher Hall on day one of the program. Please meet in the lobby of the hotel by 7:45 am.

Plan Your Travel

Viticulture & enology facilities

During the program, you will tour the UC Davis winery and vineyards. For more information on this state-of-the-art, LEED platinum facility, check our the UC Davis Viticulture & Enology Site. These are walking tours, so it is advisable to bring sturdy and comfortable walking shoes.

Please dress comfortably to get the most out of this learning, walking, and networking experience. Business casual attire is appropriate and jeans are welcome! Be sure to bring a jacket for cool evenings.

The weather in Davis during the month of March can be beautiful and sunny, however there is always potential for rain. The temperatures can range from 44-70 degrees, so dress comfortably for the warm weather, but be sure to bring a jacket for cool evenings. Getting Ready

Your Student Journey Starts Here! 

Initiation for these processes occur up to one month prior program start.

Step 1: Creating Your UC Davis Computing Account 

Invitations are sent one month prior to start of program, by activating your account you will be granted access to the UC Davis systems.
You will be instructed to complete a Temporary Affiliate Form (TAF) online. Check out the instructional guide link in the sidebar for more details on the TAF process.


Step 2: Access to Canvas

  • Invitation to the course will be sent to your email two weeks prior to the start of the program. Check out the instructional guide in the sidebar for more details on how to use Canvas once you receive your invitation.
  • Additionally, we recommend you print materials from Canvas that you would like to take notes on.


Step 3: Fill out Consent to Record

Complete and submit consent to record and consider sending or bringing wine for the Wine down tasting event on Tuesday evening. 


Step 4: Join our LinkedIn Group-share

Post about the program before and while you are here! As a new member of the UC Davis Wine Executive Program, you will be given access to our members only LinkedIn group. Stay connected and share job opportunities and other news about yourself by joining today!

Arriving at Gallagher Hall 

The program will be held on UC Davis Campus in Gallagher Hall. We are conveniently located near the I-80 corridor. There is an interactive, map of the UC Davis Campus for your convenience.

Parking

  • If driving your own vehicle to campus, you will need to download the AMP mobile parking app. You will need a credit card and your license number to activate.
  • You may park in the following areas: the Gateway Parking Structure and Visitor parking Lots 1 and 2.

If you are flying to the Sacramento International Airport or San Francisco Airport you may use the following transportation options:

Train

If you plan to arrive by train, the train station is conveniently located in Davis and very close to the venue. From the train station you can rent a taxi. Below are some local taxi services:
