Embracing Your Next Act: A Career Transitions Workshop

Speaker: Gina Dokko, Professor

In today's world, a healthy and fulfilling life can include multiple career transitions and extend well beyond the traditional retirement age. Many women find opportunities to leave traditional paid employment even earlier, paving the way for new adventures and goals.

Research on sustainable careers is reframing the conversation about career progress and achievement from income and promotions to happiness, health, and productivity. However, transitioning away from your established career can be a profound shift, impacting your identity and how others perceive you. As you look ahead to the next phase of your life, how do you envision yourself? What are your aspirations? How has your career journey shaped your perspective on these questions?
