"This is a community which has given me an incredible amount—an intellectual home, inspirational ideas, academic colleagues and collaborators, deep friendships and much more," said Bhargava.
After 6.5 years of work experience, I sought to enhance my analytics knowledge, and the MSBA program at UC Davis appeared to be a perfect fit. The well-structured MSBA coursework and UC Davis' robust alumni network have brought me to San Francisco, the epicenter of innovation and technology.
The program's standout feature is the year-long practicum, during which we apply the knowledge gained in the class to tackle real-world business challenges.
I selected the UC Davis MSBA program due to its notably rigorous curriculum, which aligns perfectly with my educational aspirations. I am confident that through this program, I will successfully propel my career as a data analyst and reach my professional aspirations.
I wanted to enroll myself in a course that short yet impactful. A lot of the programs I had applied to had a course duration of 1.25 - 1.5years. UC Davis' MSBA not only fit my timeline, but also had a mandatory Practicum component which was a major deciding factor for me.
To gain experience while learning concepts and getting to apply them as we went ahead in the course seemed like the ideal way for me to learn. The program's location being SF, and the proximity to the rest of the Bay Area was another factor that heavily influenced my decision.
From my undergraduate experience at UC Davis, I have a strong belief in the faculty's ability to deliver an excellent education and stay aligned with the evolving industry trends.
Additionally, the program's location in San Francisco provides access to abundant resources and a robust alumni network. As they say, 'Once an Aggie, always an Aggie!'
