University of California, Riverside. Business Analytic & Economic
Director of Veteran Success
The reason I chose UC Davis primarily for the unique immersion courses and professional certificate programs. The immersion programs help integrate business professionals into different science fields to help solve tomorrow's issues including Biotech, Agtech, Renewable energy and CFO for technology. In addition, finishing school with a professional certificate, for example PMP, CFA1 or Lean Six Sigma Green Belt will help you be successful in the market and help separate you from your competition. Also the gym in the arc is really nice.
Director of Yield Management
The UC Davis MBA is among the top public business schools in the country. The faculty is known to be world class and a small cohort size was an added benefit to make the most of the personalized learning experience. The health care affiliation of the university is really strong with some groundbreaking advancements in the healthtech industry, due to its geographical location, medical campus and alumni. All of which drew me towards selecting UC Davis for the MBA program.
Director of Communications
I chose UC Davis because it is a top ranking MBA program located near the Bay Area, with access to the tech industry. The STEM certification and small cohort size were also factors that were appealing to me.
Assistant Director of Outreach
In midst of applying to MBA schools, UC Davis stood out because of its persistence on collaboration. And then I read a lot about diversity and inclusion. Furthermore, multiculturalism that is here in California, especially in the Bay Area/Silicon Valley also impacted my decision. When I talk about multiculturalism, I don't just mean diversity in ethnicities, but also about diversity in what's being offered at the university alongside the MBA program. My interest was in Data Analytics.
Director of Outreach
Top ranking MBA program & school, with personally preferred location (west coast, tech environment). Small class size is a plus for me too.
Assistant Director
I was surprised by the amount of information available to the public on the UC Davis GSM website when I was researching MBA programs. All admission teams, career development teams, and student ambassadors were available to me when I needed to decide. Also, I was able to look into the historical offering courses instead of just course titles. When I chose to join UC Davis, I was confident about the academic aspects, the career resources, and the cultural diversity.
Director
I chose UC Davis because I wanted an MBA program with clear geographic access and strong alumni associations to the tech industry, a sincere focus on leadership development, and a strong community atmosphere. The MBA program at UC Davis provides numerous opportunities to be challenged and succeed alongside a diverse group of peers and with the support from world-class professors and deeply connected program leaders. The GSM culture is constantly reinforced through targeted career development workshops and collaborative peer work and interactions.
