It's in the middle of everything and I like that I can be in San Francisco for dinner one night, then in Tahoe the next day.

Research by Distinguished Professor Paul Griffin shows 6.1% of U.S. publicly traded firms and 7.9% of California’s 5,377 companies with headquarters in counties prone to wildfires report the level of risk as required by the SEC. Investors seek out this information to determine whether to buy stock in the companies.
