Sotiris K. Kolokotronis is the founder and owner of SKK Developments, a Sacramento-based real estate firm that specializes in mixed-use, multi-family and land development projects.

As Executive-in-Residence in spring 2006, Kolokotronis taught a quarter-long MBA course on real estate development, drawing on two decades of experience on projects involving more than 1,500 single-family homes, 1,200 apartment units and 250,000 square feet of commercial buildings in Northern California, Colorado, Nevada and Oregon.

Russell Read, chief investment officer for the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS), the nation’s largest public pension fund, has joined the UC Davis Graduate School of Management as the Robert A. Fox Executive-in-Residence for the spring quarter.

Joe Dobrow, a senior marketing executive and consultant who has enjoyed a diverse career in consumer retail and nonprofits, served as the UC Davis Graduate School of Management as the Robert A. Fox Executive-in-Residence for the spring quarter 2009.

While at UC Davis, Dobrow taught an MBA course on real-world decision making in practice that will offer a unique window into the world of executive thinking.

Jack M. Gill

2010 Robert A. Fox Executive-in-Residence

Jack Gill, a founder and managing partner (retired) of Vanguard Ventures in Palo Alto, has joined the UC Davis Graduate School of Management as in the Robert A. Fox Executive in Residence for the spring 2010 quarter.

Jack has more than four decades of experience working in Silicon Valley and Boston as a company founder and venture capitalist. He also has 10 years of experience teaching entrepreneurship courses in science, engineering and medicine at Harvard Medical School, MIT and Rice University.
